I know it's been a while since I posted last, and lots of things have changed: I finished all my college classes (and finals! Eek!), GRADUATED, and moved back home to job-hunt. I've also become a huge Vans fan! For those of you who've been reading for awhile, you'll recall that I posted about receiving my first pair of Vans way back when - when I was still a college student! (OK, not that long ago. Probably sometime back in March, but you understand.) Well, they're still with me, but like any sneaker aficionado, I'm looking to add to my collection.
In my opinion, Vans are the perfect summer sneaker. For me, they conjure up images of Southern California (ohh, LA!), which translates to carefree summer. (Recall: those irreplaceable summer nights and the feelings you had that last summer after you graduated high school, before everyone left for their freshman year of college.) And you can wear them on the boardwalk, sidewalk, or in the sand. Plus, Vans shoes are so wallet-friendly and won't run you $100+ like some other sneaker brands. And who doesn't love a sneaker that doesn't require tying laces?
