I honestly think Forever 21 has started to think of copying Alexander Wang's designs as a game. First they knocked off his fringe boot (which I totally bought, I won't lie), then they knocked off Alex's Donna Hobo bag. Looks like Forever 21's at it again, this time knocking off the designer's infamous colorblock minidress, which has been seen on the likes of Diane Kruger (to name just one celeb).

I wonder what Mr. Wang thinks of this - do you think he's pissed or flattered? It's almost as though it's become a game now - "Let's see how little time elapses after Alexander Wang releases a design before Forever 21 rips it off."
I think that it is a natural cycle in fashion, designers set trends, and then they trickle down to lower end stores, so I think that the designers expect it, but are nevertheless flattered:)
