There's room in any industry for innovation, and leave it to living legend Diane von Furstenberg to bring this trend to the masses. Spotted at her Spring/Summer '09 Fashion Week show were models sporting some unique headwear... Normally, I wouldn't think this trend would show up in the streets, but something tells me that because Whitney Port was spotted wearing a similar headpiece this is one high-fashion trend that may just catch on with the masses.
Personally, it's a lil too hippie chic for my own personal taste. I could totally see Nicole Richie wearing one of these on her coffee runs, but as for the typical American? It's up in the air.
I'm in agreement with you...maybe on the runway but not in real life...
