OK, so I thought that Kanye West was on the cover of Complex for April of 2009? Either way, I'm too engulfed in school work to put some brain power towards this dilemma. Peep Kim's Complex cover...

For some reason, I'm adoring the entire color scheme of the cover. Weird.

That doesn't even look like Kanye. His eyes are nuts.

I'm taking the lazy route and combining these two items into one post. (I justify this because they came from the same source - nitrolicious!) First up, get a glimpse of some of H&M's pieces for spring. As always, I'm liking all the clothes and looking forward to shopping at H&M for my spring wardrobe! I wish there was a store closer to my school, I hate driving an hour just to shop at H&M - but it's usually worth it. Check out a few of my very faves below...

I can't tell whether that's a ring or a cuff - I'm hoping it's a ring because it's fabulous! Now on to Matthew Williamson's designs for H&M...

I'm obsessed with the pink dress in the middle, how amazing is that silhouette? Plus, the color is to die for. Lots more shots and pieces over at nitro:licious, so make sure you check them out!

A lil while back I posted when I learned that swim & beachwear designer Tracy Feith would be designing a line for Target. At the time I hadn't heard the designer's name and to be honest I'm still not too familiar with his work, except that he has a store in the Hamptons. So already you know the line will be perfect for strolling surfside... Anyways, the always trusty nitro:licious came through today with a preview of the upcoming line, set to hit Target stores this May.
The verdict? I'm not thrilled, maybe 'cause the collection's a little conservative for me? One piece I do actually like though are the bloomer shorts (pictured below, right), which will retail at $27.

Make sure you check out a few more looks over at nitro:licious to make the judgment call yourself. Since it's still early I'm guessing more looks are in the works right now, but 'til then I'm glad we have Alexander McQueen's collection to keep us occupied.

Right on the heels of previewing Miss Trish of Capri for Target, nitro:licious has posted some preview shots of Felix Rey's accessories collection for Target. (The bag below is not from the GO International collection.)

Felix Rey Emma Diaper Bag
$450.00 by Felix Rey at Saks Fifth Avenue
I have to say I'm pretty indifferent about these bags. They look cute for the beach but have the same J.Crew-y vibe that the Miss Trish of Capri sandals had. The Felix Rey collection hits Target stores March 29th, only about a month away and right in time for summer beach trips.

One of Target's forthcoming GO International collections, Miss Trish of Capri, is slated to hit stores April 5th of this spring. While most of the focus of Target's latest collaborations has been on Alexander McQueen, I think this one rightfully deserves some attention. Before learning about this collab I hadn't heard of Miss Trish of Capri, but the sandals look bright and fun. According to nitro:licious, they'll retail for $29.99, not bad at all. Check out my fave of the previews below...

How cute is the whale detail? I normally dislike anything even remotely preppy, but I spotted Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger rocking similar sandals with a fabulous one-strap navy dress and fell in love with the look. The frock dressed her up while her flat sandals added a casual touch... perfect for warm summer nights out to dinner! More pics over at nitro:licious, so definitely head there and have yourself a peek!

Don't know if you heard the news, but Project Runway winner Christian Siriano, who also appeared on an episode of 'Ugly Betty,' is slated to design a collection for Payless, due out later this year. Nitro:licious has a shot of one of his sketches for the brand, and needless to say, I think it's fierce.
According to nitro:licious:
"Siriano’s Payless line, which will debut at New York Fashion Week at his show on Feb. 19 at The Salon at the tents at Bryant Park. WWD has the first look, a sketch of bag in Siriano’s collection for Payless, 'the collection of clutches, totes and skyscraping heels ranges in price from $25 to $45 and is inspired by Egyptian artifacts with hieroglyphic details and all.'"
I'm excited for this line - how can anyone go wrong with skyscraping heels?! Check out the sketch Siriano produced at nitro:licious.

Behold, new (and fit!) mom Jessica Alba on the cover of ELLE's March 2009 issue:

It goes without saying that I'll buy this mag just 'cause I'm a fan of ELLE, but how come she's not smiling? Anywho, I like her hair longer and the bangs look good on her. If you're not planning on buying the mag you can still check out the article about Ms. Alba here.

For this upcoming spring, women's streetwear brand Hellz Bellz will be showcasing some patterns we've seen previously as well as some florals. Included in the spring collection is a Coco Chanel-inspired tee which I think is pretty sick. Peep my fave look from the lookbook below...

I'm a sucker for those patterned tights, and especially leopard-print anything. You can't go wrong with animal instincts. Lots more pics and more info 'bout the collection at TrashBag Aesthetics, and it's definitely worth your while to take a look - all the bright colors and patterns will lift your dreary winter mood.

Alexander Wang is definitely the designer of the moment. Not only does he have his T by Alexander Wang collection, but the designer will be partnering with Paris Kain to design a line of jewelry out Feb. 14th. From TrashBag Aesthetics:
"On Feb 14th , Wang will unveil his new collection for this fall with Brooklyn-based jewelry designer Paris Kain of Abraxas Rex. The duo teamed up to create a small four-styled collection of silver cuffs along with earrings. Wang notes WWD that the earrings are not pierced nor clipped on..."

I'm expecting the line to be edgy in keeping with Alexander Wqng clothing designs. Unfortunately, these pieces will also be out of my price range. TBA also reports that the jewelry will go for roughly $400-$900 wholesale! I'll keep an eye for when these all go on sale, 'cause I'm loving this silver cuff so I can't wait to see what else the collection will roll out!
