Let's face it: it's only a matter of time before '90s style comes full circle and becomes high fashion again. We've seen it happen before with bell bottoms; now MC Hammer's harem pants are resurfacing as 'cool.' Although I was a tot in the '90s, I can still fully appreciate any Saved by the Bell-influenced style.
If you're like me, then you should definitely check out the Fruition blog. Fruition is a Las Vegas-based store that sells vintage pieces online through its blog, but they have an awesome way of styling and showing the pieces. Definitely unique, with lots of color in all the right places. Plus, they have their fair share of designer clothing, i.e. vintage Jeremy Scott tees. Even if you're not planning on buying, check out the artwork that's posted - you could easily pull some outfit inspiration!

On a random side note, I'm thinking of switching up the layout of Hellooo Gorgeous! Change is good :)

These two shots were saved on my desktop and I had just had to post them because: 1. Camilla Belle is gorgeous! and 2. I adore messy, out-of-place hair.

Images via...?
I'll even give Camilla a pass on dating a Jonas Brother. Anyways, I totally forgot where the images came from, so if you happen to know, hit me up with an e-mail at hellooogorgeous.blog@gmail.com or leave a comment so I can credit appropriately.

I'm a huge of fan of black clothing but not so much a fan of dresses. However, I do have a few LBDs residing comfortably in my closet. (They make appearances on special occasions, so don't go scoffing just yet if you haven't seen me in one.) I stumbled across this picture on Foam mag's digital edition and just fell in love with it! The lace detail is perfect, plus how amazing would this dress look with the Free People boots I just posted about?

Even if you're a color-lover and prefer florals to black, you should still stock an LBD in your closet. You don't need to spend exorbitant amounts - mine are from H&M! It's all about the feel and fit - it needs to fit perfectly!

Confession: I've never seen 'Flashdance.' In my defense, that movie was totally before my time (right?). My friends are constantly on my case because I've never seen a slew of American classics ('Top Gun' and 'Goonies' are a few), but I promise, the next rainy Sunday I'll stock up on a bunch of cinema classics and educate myself so I can be fully caught up. Anyways, although I've never seen 'Flashdance' I'm still familiar with the phenomena that still exists to this day (as exhibited in one of J.Lo's music videos a few years back).
This editorial caught my eye not because of the movie's obvious inspiration, but I'm really curious about the glitter. I've been toying with the idea of adding glitter to a completely over-the-top makeup routine, the only dilemma is that I have no upcoming even to wear said makeup to. (I'm on the lookout for an excuse, trust me.)

Even though glitter can be tacky, I really love the way it was used in these shots. To see the rest of the photos from the editorial, check out the original 'She's a Maniac' post from True North Style. (I am also totally feeling those knee-high socks, oo la la!)

While the rain seems to have subsided for a bit, the summer heat has set in full blast and hazy days make for lazy outfits. Resist the temptation to throw on a pair of gym shorts and a Hanes tank, instead take some inspiration from a few legendary rock stars and throw in some knit accessories or intricate headbands to spice up your summer wardrobe without adding heat-insulating layers. Other ideas: layered random bracelets, aviator sunglasses, anything and everything studded.
Groupies optional.

Lately I've been drawn to anything that has to do with graffiti and/or is paint-splattered. I've been saving a bunch of images on my desktop that hopefully will make it onto the blog soon. I found these pics on the Stampd' LA blog and just had to share them. I love the graffiti wall surrounded by trees, for some reason it's so pretty and so unexpected.

If you caught the last few episodes of this past season's 'Keeping Up with the Kardashian's' you've definitely heard Monica's name. She's Kim's stylist! So if you've seen a drastic (read: trendier) change in Kim's style lately - fringe tanks, Made Her Think earrings - it's most likely due to Monica. And who wouldn't want to get inside a stylist's head? Bravo gave us a peep into Rachel Zoe's life, but if you're eager to know more about how a stylist operates check out Monica's blog, where she gives readers an inside look into her daily happenings and who's she's styled lately. (She also styles the ladies on E!'s Daily 10.)

To see some of the editorial work Monica's done, check out her official Monica Rose Web site. Her life seems pretty hectic but seriously fabulous at the same time, can someone tell me how I can get her job? (Or at least be her assistant!)

Talk about freaky! Images of Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter in character from Tim Burton's 'Alice in Wonderland' have just been released, and needless to say they're pretty psychedelic. Johnny Depp will be playing The Mad Hatter, while Helena Bonham Carter is The Red Queen. According to JustJared, the remake will be in 3D.

I'll definitely go check this movie out, I loved the cartoon version of 'Alice in Wonderland' as a kid and who doesn't adore 'The Nightmare Before Christmas?' According to IMDb, the movie's slated for release in March 2010.
