Hey everyone, happy Sunday! Just wanted to give everyone an update on the newest additions to my closet, which I'm so excited about! The weather's warming up, which means new outfit options and breaking out those spring/summer clothes! Are you excited yet?
So on Friday I finally got my peep-toe boots from Amazon! I slipped them on and although I haven't worn them out yet, they were super comfortable and fit just right. I was a little concerned with getting them on - I didn't know if I'd have to un-lace them or not - but luckily there's a zipper on the side (not pictured) that allows for easy maneuvering. I've already planned my outfit out: black tights, high-waisted denim shorts and a white tank.

My younger sister was kind enough to swing by Target on a trip to her local mall... When I realized that her Target was carrying the McQueen collection, I immediately asked her to scoop up these leggings for me! I was hesitant at first 'cause of the price tag ($30 for leggings, hmm...) and wondered whether it was worth it for a pair of pants I could only wear so often because they're so distinctive. But then I remembered how bummed I was that I didn't scoop up the Married to the Mob graffiti leggings, so I sucked it up and decided to keep these babies. My mission is to head to H&M sometime soon and try to find a black tunic to wear with these.
Found this top on a routine trip to Target and immediately fell in love with it. The splatter design caught my eye and I've worn it out two or three times already. Such a great deal, and perfect for a night out with friends.

Other recent purchases include a plaid chiffon top and loose-fitting white tank, both from Forever 21. I couldn't find them online but hopefully I'll be able to post some pics soon of me wearing them!
UPDATE: Here's the tank from Forever 21 that I mentioned before, and that I plan on wearing with my high-waisted shorts and new peep-toe boots. I bought it in white.

The fabric is super soft, but just a quick note - I bought a medium, which is pretty baggy, but the length isn't quite as long as I'd expected. I bought the top with the intent of wearing it over leggings but it's not long enough, so I'm going to resort to wearing it with jeans or shorts.
