Lately I've been drawn to anything that has to do with graffiti and/or is paint-splattered. I've been saving a bunch of images on my desktop that hopefully will make it onto the blog soon. I found these pics on the Stampd' LA blog and just had to share them. I love the graffiti wall surrounded by trees, for some reason it's so pretty and so unexpected.

You all know how much I heart Los Angeles! Hollywood is just a spectacle unto itself, but one of the best parts of LA is the subcultures that exist in surrounding beach towns. One of the biggest misperceptions people have of LA (in my opinion) is that everyone is plastic and/or fake, rich, and shallow. Thanks to reality shows that perpetuate this unfortunate stereotype - cough cough, The Hills - viewers don't get a glimpse of the real LA.
When I stumbled upon HiStyley.com, I felt like I'd come home! HiStyley chronicles LA street style... only! So for those of you whose exposure to the Los Angeles scene is limited to Lauren Conrad (I apologize for that), you need to check out HiStyley and get a taste for some real California fashion.
Here's one look I'm particularly fond of...
How well put together is this outfit? The ankle boots, the tunic, it all just makes sense and works. Plus, I'm so jealous of that nice weather that enables this woman to be able to walk down the street with no coat!!
UPDATE: Here's another look I'm obsessing over, I guess you could say I'm loving the belted dress look lately.
Cheers dolls!
